They breezed by Brentwood on the road  to the tune of  34-0 on Saturday. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Bulldogs just coasted through the last quarter.
 Meanwhile, William Floyd  took care of business in their home opener  on Saturday. They came out on top against Longwood by a score of  36-29.
  Ja?Quan Thomas went supernova for William Floyd, rushing for 180 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was  A.J. Cannet, who threw for 184 yards and a touchdown on only 17 passes.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, William Floyd was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 231  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 150  rushing yards in 13 consecutive  matchups  dating back to last season.
