Bulkeley is 0-9 against the Beavers since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bulkeley Bulldogs will be staying on the road to face off against the Weaver Beavers at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Thursday, Bulkeley came up short against the Gladiators and fell 65-54. Bulkeley has not had much luck with the Gladiators recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile, Weaver unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 66-59 to Bloomfield. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Madden Cupe, who scored 21 points along with four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaheim Wilson, who scored 15 points.
Bulkeley's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Weaver, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3.
Bulkeley was taken down by the Beavers 77-48 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Bulkeley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
