The Duchesne Pioneers''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against MICDS, falling 59-24. Duchesne has struggled against MICDS recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Brian Gould continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for MICDS, throwing for 222 yards and six touchdowns on only 17 passes, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Henry Rohan, who picked up 109 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Duchesne has fallen quite a ways from their 12-5 record last season and are now at 1-7. As for MICDS, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
Duchesne will head out on the road to face off against Burroughs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for MICDS, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McCluer at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
