The Vintage Crushers won the last time they faced the Casa Grande Gauchos, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Vintage secured a 59-53 W over Casa Grande. With that win, Vintage brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.
Vintage's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nathan Marroquin, who scored nine points along with seven steals and five assists. Another player making a difference was Connor Gongora, who scored 19 points.
Vintage has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-15 record this season. As for Casa Grande, they dropped their record down to 9-18 with that defeat, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Vintage will face off against Justin-Siena at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Justin-Siena will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Vintage surely won't give up without a fight. Casa Grande does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
