Community Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a hard 63-47 fall against the Bert Corona Charter Knights. One positive for the Titans, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Community Charter lost, don't look at Edem Ladzepko. Despite the final result, he went 11 of 19 on his way to 30 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. Ladzepko is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. Ulises Borja also deserves some recognition as he pulled down his first boards of the season.

Even though they lost, Community Charter was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Community Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Bert Corona Charter, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Community Charter will be playing at home against Triumph Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Triumph Charter is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season. As for Bert Corona Charter, they will venture away from home to square off against Lakeview Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
