Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Moorcroft). They blew past the Newell Irrigators 73-9 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

The win snapped Moorcroft's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-7 record.

Moorcroft won't have much time to rest: their next match is against New Underwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. New Underwood has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Newell, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Faith at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses dating back to last season for Newell and four for Faith.
