Colleton Prep Academy saw some tournament action on Friday. They walked away with a 71-60 victory over the Florence Christian Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the War Hawks.

Colin Hiers continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 27 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mateo Castillo, who posted 14 points.

Florence Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Taylor Greene, who went 12 of 28 on his way to 29 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Greene's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sullivan Hardy, who shot 5-for-9 from beyond the arc and almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds.

Colleton Prep Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Florence Christian, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-6.

Colleton Prep Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-61 defeat against Calhoun Academy on the 28th. As for Florence Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 43-41 win against Jefferson Davis Academy on the 28th.
