Ribault has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the West Nassau Warriors at TBD on Tuesday. Hopefully Ribault focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Thursday.
Ribault put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season. They really took it to Parker for the full four quarters, racking up a 81-48 victory at home. Given Ribault's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Braves are ranked 617th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Caleb Williams was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 39 points and nine assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Boyd, who scored seven points along with five assists and five steals.
Meanwhile, West Nassau's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 60-30 loss at the hands of Yulee. West Nassau has not had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Ribault pushed their record up to 18-6 with that win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for West Nassau, their loss dropped their record down to 1-20.
Ribault and the Warriors were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in February of 2021, but the Trojans came up empty-handed after a 66-65 defeat. Thankfully for Ribault, Dallan "Deebo" Coleman (who dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
