Chelsea had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They blew past the Ypsilanti Grizzlies 3-0. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Grizzlies, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chelsea took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-5.

Ella Root paced Chelsea's offense, picking up nine kills. Root got some help from Lexi Cummer and her 21 assists.

Chelsea's record is now 27-8-3. As for Ypsilanti, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14.

Chelsea wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Dexter on the 23rd. As for Ypsilanti, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Lincoln on the 25th.
