Lincoln extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping them up to 9-2. Everything went their way against the Braxton County Eagles as they made off with a 19-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won seven contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

As for Braxton County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12. They haven't had much luck with Lincoln recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

For Braxton County's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jade Chapman, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Lincoln has already played their next game (against Lewis County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Braxton County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 20-6 defeat against Elk Valley Christian on the 16th.
