Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Caravel Buccaneers walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Auks on Saturday as they made off with a 35-13 win. The victory was just business as usual for Caravel, who after 13 games remain undefeated this season.
Archmere Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Miles Kempski, who threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns.
Caravel has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 13-0 record. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.3 points. As for Archmere Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4.
Caravel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Archmere Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
