After three games on the road, Springville is heading back home. They will take on the Corner Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Springville is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Corner in Alabama (Springville is ranked 131st, while Corner is ranked 412th).
Last Friday, Springville came up short against Pelham and fell 54-47.
Corner can finally bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They walked away with a 29-17 victory over Montevallo. That 12 points margin sets a new team best for Corner this season.
Springville has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season. As for Corner, their victory ended a 11-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-11.
Everything came up roses for Springville against Corner when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 55-19 victory. Does Springville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Corner turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
