Mike Scafidi posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. He struck out seven batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Pennridge back in May of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.

Scafidi's strong effort led Central Bucks East over Pennridge and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
