The Little Elm Lobos were the 29-28 winner over the Braswell Bengals when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Little Elm took a serious blow against Braswell on Thursday, falling 50-14. Little Elm was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-14.
Braswell was led to victory by Jeremiah Shipp and Moses Adelowo. Shipp rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per carry, while Adelowo rushed for 233 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. Adelowo's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.
Little Elm's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Braswell, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.
Little Elm will challenge Allen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Braswell, they will be playing at home against Boyd at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
