Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Matteo Herrera stepped things up a notch to give Sandia Prep the 'W'. Herrera made a splash, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Bosque two weeks ago, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Herrera is becoming a predictor of Sandia Prep's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 5-10 when he doesn't).
