Lakeview has gone a perfect 10-0 against McKinley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Bulldogs will host the Red Dragons at 5:00 p.m. Lakeview will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Lakeview will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Champion, who they had gone 0-6 against in their six prior meetings. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Golden Flashes by a score of 7-3 on Thursday.

Isabella Isenberg made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.
In other batting news, Kennedy Bartlett was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Stowe, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Lakeview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, McKinley didn't have quite enough to beat Chaney on Thursday and fell 5-4.
Airiana Jones spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on three hits and racked up 12 Ks.
On the hitting side, McKinley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Noland, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.
McKinley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Lakeview, their win bumped their record up to 10-3.
Lakeview took their victory against McKinley in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Red Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
