American Christian School can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Wednesday. They breezed by Kearny Christian Academy at home to the tune of 84-35. While fans of American Christian School might be used to big wins, the 49-point margin marked the team's biggest victory yet this season.
American Christian School can attribute much of their success to Japhet Santiago, who scored 24 points, and Caleb Ritchwood, who scored 21 points. Ritchwood has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Tim McDermott, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Kittatinny Regional's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight defeat. They fell to Lenape Valley 62-56.
American Christian School pushed their record up to 13-4 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.4 points per game. As for Kittatinny Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
