After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Legacy, Cimarron-Memorial was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars as they made off with a 22-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won four matches by 13 runs or more so far this season.

With the win, Cimarron-Memorial broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-6. As for Pinecrest Academy Cadence, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cimarron-Memorial is set to face off against their familiar foe Clark at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Pinecrest Academy Cadence will square off against rival Desert Pines at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
