The Crisfield Crabbers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were the victim of a rough 83-58 defeat at the hands of Pocomoke. Crisfield has struggled against Pocomoke recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Pocomoke found their leader in underclassman Jamir Roberts, who dropped a triple-double on 25 points, ten assists, and ten steals. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Ames, who scored 20 points along with seven steals.
Crisfield's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-2. As for Pocomoke, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Crisfield won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Decatur at 6:00 p.m. on December 15th. Decatur has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 225 points over their last three matches. Pocomoke will be home for the holidays to greet Colonel Richardson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
