Rockledge is 9-1 against Space Coast since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. Rockledge will be playing at home against Space Coast at 7:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Space Coast will be up against a hot Rockledge squad: the team just extended their winning streak to six. Rockledge blew past Cocoa 17-2 on Monday. The Raiders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Riley Ravenscroft spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits.

At the plate, Gizelle Arteaga was a standout: she scored four runs while going 3-for-3. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaylah Comeau, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
Rockledge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Space Coast got themselves on the board against Cocoa Beach on Tuesday, but Cocoa Beach never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Minutemen. The victory continues a trend for the Vipers in their matchups with the Minutemen: they've now won nine in a row.
Paige Reynolds made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
In other batting news, Space Coast got a massive performance out of Cameron Flaskamp, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Ana Muniz was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.
Rockledge's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Space Coast, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
Wednesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Rockledge has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .455. However, it's not like Space Coast struggles in that department as they've averaged .451. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Rockledge's way against Space Coast in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Rockledge made off with a 14-4 victory. Will Rockledge repeat their success, or does Space Coast has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
