If Elmwood was feeling good fresh off their 19-2 takedown of Riverdale on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Royals fell 6-2 to the Archbold Blue Streaks on Saturday. The Royals' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Elmwood saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allyie Reynolds, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Elmwood's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Archbold, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.
