Hammonton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ocean City apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.
Hammonton's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Deandre Clemons, who gained 136 total yards and a touchdown. Clemons was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 68 yards. Another player making a difference was Drew Craig, who threw for 168 yards and a touchdown on only eight passes.
Hammonton has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Ocean City, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
