Franklin and Red Cloud are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The Flyers will head out to challenge the Warriors on Friday. Red Cloud took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Franklin, who comes in off a win.
Franklin is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Elba: they outscored them in every quarter. The Flyers strolled past the Bluejays with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 40-22. The Flyers haven't had any issues with the Bluejays recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Franklin relied on the efforts of Caiden Peterman, who posted 14 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists, and Eldon Haack, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 14 boards. Haack has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times he's played.
They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Franklin was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elba only posted four.
Meanwhile, Red Cloud entered their matchup against Deshler on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Warriors fell 41-36 to the Dragons. While the Warriors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Dragons 10-6 in the first quarter.
Franklin will have to contain Gage Ely as he made an impact in Red Cloud's last game. He almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds. Connor Rust was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.
Red Cloud's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Franklin, their victory bumped their record up to 4-13.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Franklin has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 28.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Red Cloud struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 35.8 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Franklin was dealt a bruising 55-19 defeat at the hands of Red Cloud in their previous meeting back in February of 2025. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Ely, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 11 boards.
