Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Clayton Wojcik, who scored 18 points along with two steals. AJ Radloff was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Meanwhile, even though Mulberry Grove scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg still came out on top. Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg snuck past Mulberry Grove with a 64-58 win.
It was another big night for Jackson Gurgel, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Manhart, who scored 16 points.
Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's record is now 11-16. Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg's record now sits at 14-15.
Friday's contest is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City have been dynamite from deep this season, having made 49.4% of their threes per game. However, it's not like Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg struggles in that department as they've made 41% of their threes this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
