James F. Byrnes' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Will Fowler, who scored 22 points along with five assists and two steals. Evan Enos was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Meanwhile, Gaffney pushed their score all the way to 59 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 69-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dorman. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (57), Gaffney still had to take the loss.
James F. Byrnes has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. As for Gaffney, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8.
Everything came up roses for James F. Byrnes against Gaffney when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 93-66 victory.
