Hayfork's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Daniel Kasper led the charge by scoring 16 points along with six rebounds. That's the first time this season that Kasper scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Tatem Wiley, who scored 14 points.
Tulelake can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Surprise Valley with a sharp 55-34 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Tulelake has posted since December 11, 2023.
Hayfork has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Tulelake, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-13.
