Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hibriten walked away with it. They came out on top against the East Lincoln Mustangs by a score of 61-49 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 77-66 back in December of 2024.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lane Pethel, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. Pethel is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Emma Montanari, who posted 17 points and three steals.
Hibriten's victory bumped their record up to 14-12. As for East Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-7.
