The Fellowship Academy Mustangs lost against the Covenant Classical Cavaliers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The matchup between Fellowship Academy and Covenant Classical wasn't particularly close, with Fellowship Academy falling 69-52. Fellowship Academy has not had much luck with Covenant Classical recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Fellowship Academy saw an underclassman step up: Bryce Baker scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Baker has scored all season. Connor Fountain was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Fellowship Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-23. As for Covenant Classical, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
Fellowship Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Temple Christian at 7:00 p.m. Temple Christian is coming into the match with four straight wins on the road, meaning Fellowship Academy will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. As for Covenant Classical, they will face off against Calvary Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
