The Lewis County Lions will head out on the road to take on the Bourbon County Colonels at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lewis County will be strutting in after a victory while Bourbon County will be coming in after a loss.

Jerra Lucas made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Grace Switzer was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.
Meanwhile, Bourbon County fell victim to Lexington Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 15-0 to the Knights. The defeat continues a trend for the Colonels in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost four in a row.
Bourbon County's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Lewis County, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-18.
