Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Bishop Feehan Shamrocks, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were outmatched by Marshfield on the road and fell 51-24. Bishop Feehan's defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.
Despite the defeat, Bishop Feehan saw an underclassman step up: Owen Mordas threw for 242 yards and three touchdowns.
Bishop Feehan's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Marshfield, they have yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 7-2 record.
Bishop Feehan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Marshfield will head out on the road to face off against Catholic Memorial at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Catholic Memorial is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
