The Thornwell Saints lost against the Whitmire Wolverines back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Thornwell took a 27-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolverines.
Leading Whitmire to victory were Brooklynn Babb and Trystan Samples. Babb scored seven points along with four steals, while Samples scored seven points along with six rebounds and five blocks. Another player making a difference was Alleigh Corley, who scored five points.
Thornwell's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-10.
