Millbury is 2-8 against Northbridge since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Millbury Woolies will head out on the road to face off against the Northbridge Rams at 6:30 p.m. Northbridge took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Millbury, who comes in off a win.
Millbury took care of business in their home opener on Monday (and then some). They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Uxbridge 65-38 at home.
Millbury's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anthony Phillipo led the charge by scoring 18 points. Another player making a difference was Kenny Donnelly, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Northbridge pushed their score all the way to 70 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 74-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of Grafton. Northbridge has not had much luck with Grafton recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Millbury pushed their record up to 1-0 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23.78 points. As for Northbridge, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
Everything came up roses for Millbury against Northbridge when the teams last played back in February as the team secured a 70-34 victory. With Millbury ahead 49-16 at the half, the game was all but over already.
