Konawa was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Central on Friday. Konawa put the hurt on Central with a sharp 21-2 win. Considering the Tigers have won eight contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Konawa's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Central, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Konawa didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-3 win against Elmore City-Pernell on the 28th. As for Central, they will venture away from home to square off against Empire at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
