The matchup between the Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs and the Floyd Central Jaguars on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. Hazard managed a 70-66 win over Floyd Central. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, Floyd Central saw an underclassman step up: Maddy Engle scored 16 points. Riley Compton was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds.
