Aiden Long was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one double. He has become a key player for Amelia Academy: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-4 otherwise.
In other batting news, Kaivin Dowell was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Amelia Academy is undefeated when Dowell posts two or more runs, but 4-5 otherwise. Carson Roberts was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Amelia Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.
