Asotin has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will  take on the Northwest Christian School Crusaders at 12:00  p.m.  in Saturday's  first game. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 In Tuesday's  second game, Asotin got the win against Reardan  by a conclusive  13-6. That's two games straight that Asotin has won by  exactly seven  runs.
  Cady Browne made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up  three earned  (and three unearned) runs off   seven  hits (and not a single walk). Browne was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Leilani Koehler was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole five bases while going 2-for-4.  Kierra Nielson was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Northwest Christian School got themselves on the board against Chewelah in Tuesday's  second game, but Chewelah never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp  15-0 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Northwest Christian School.
 Asotin is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record  this season. As for Northwest Christian School,  the  victory  got them back to even at 3-3.
 Asotin suffered a grim  20-1 defeat to Northwest Christian School  when the teams last played  back in March of 2023. Can Asotin avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
