B District 8 recap September 4, 2013
Sidney's Logan Lewis rumbled for the longest rushing play in B District 8 this season in his game against Grand Island Northwest last week. Lewis' team defeated the Vikings as he sprinted for 94 yards on the play and finished with 267 in all.
Sidney moved up to 61 from 103 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Todd Ekart's team was able to make move up by besting Grand Island Northwest 44-22.
Brian Rolls made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Red Raiders topped Kevin Stein's team. The 6-foot-1 junior.
Lewis was a beast in the backfield as Sidney beat the Vikings.

Lewis was the best running back in the league this week. Chance Anglin also contributed to the rushing game with 234 yards on the ground.
Sidney took down the Vikings 44-22 last week, the largest margin of any game. Lewis in the win.
