With a playoff win on the line, South Adams rose to the challenge on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Boone Grove Wolves. Winning may never get old, but the Starfires sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Their offense was headlined by Reagan Bollenbacher and Reece Beitler, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Reagan Beitler and her 24 assists. Laney Trausch controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Boone Grove's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Lauren Voudrie, who had 23 digs and one assist, and Olivia Fleck, who had 16 digs and two aces. Fleck has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.
South Adams' victory bumped their record up to 26-8. As for Boone Grove, with the loss, they broke their 12-match winning streak and moved their record to 20-10.
