The Adams Central Patriots will challenge the Milford Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Adams Central extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Abigail Paradies. The Patriots walked away with a 3-1 victory over Minden on Saturday with plenty of help from Paradies, who had 23 digs and five assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.
The win didn't come easy: Minden scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 19-25, 25-21.

Adams Central can attribute much of their success to Peighton Hinton, who had 22 assists and eight digs, and Brynn Smith, who had 33 assists and ten digs. That's the most assists Hinton has posted since back in October.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Milford sidestepped Kearney Catholic for a 3-2 victory.
Milford had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 13-25, 25-22, 25-23, 15-8.
Adams Central better focus on containing Libbie Reil and Adalyn Cisneros as the pair were huge in Milford's win. Reil had 17 digs and four assists, while Cisneros had 16 digs and one assist. The team also got some help courtesy of Kira Schweitzer, who had ten digs and one assist.
Adams Central's record is now 24-9. As for Milford, their record now sits at 30-1.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Wednesday's contest: Adams Central has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.2 aces per game. However, it's not like Milford struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.3 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
