Softball Recap: Allen Park Starts Season with Victory at Home

Allen Park took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Huron Chiefs with a sharp 12-5 win. The victory continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Chiefs: they've now won five in a row.

Mak Sitarski was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Hannah Ward, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2.

Coincidentally, Allen Park and Huron will both be playing Flat Rock the next time they take the field. The Jaguars will host the Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Chiefs will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
