Camden County extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 6-3. They blew past the Pasquotank County Panthers 23-6. Considering the Bruins have won four matchups by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Adam Gregory made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Gregory was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
In other pitching news, Carson Gibbs looked comfortable as he went 2-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Trot Pipkin, who went 4-for-6 with four runs, three RBI, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Brennick, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Camden County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 22 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive games.
As for Pasquotank County, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. On the bright side, the six- run performance marked their highest-scoring contest to date.
On Pasquotank County's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mattie McDaniels, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Looking ahead, Camden County will head out on the road to challenge Holmes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bruins' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Aces have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season. As for Pasquotank County, they will welcome Hertford County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.17 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
