Hayden Yelverton Delivers Electric Performance Vs Valor Preparatory Academy
Starting off the list is Community Christian's Hayden Yelverton, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Yelverton rushed for 255 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August.
Community Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. Yelverton and Community Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hill County at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Isaac Kelly was instrumental in extending West Texas T's winning streak to three on Friday. Kelly was dynamite, rushing for 135 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries, while also picking up 65 receiving yards and a touchdown. His longest reception was for an impressive 65 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per catch total.
West Texas T pushed their record up to 3-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Kelly and West Texas T will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Hart at 7:00 p.m.

Underclassman Tristan Knight Comes Up Big Against Big Springs Charter
It was an underclassman who stole the show on Saturday as Tristan Knight came into the matchup on a mission. Nobody could stop he as he rushed for 157 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 76-yard run.
Big Springs Charter had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Knight it was a similar story. Knight rushed for 134 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the BSCS Hawks duked it out back in October of 2023.

Jace Little Makes It Two for Community Christian
Another Community Christian player making an appearance on this list is Jace Little. He rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also picked up 109 receiving yards.
For the season, Little has thrown 5 touchdowns while averaging 41.1 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to seven.
