Redlands East Valley had to endure  a  four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Beaumont Cougars by a score of  53-45  on Tuesday. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered  a  67-50  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 Redlands East Valley's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Mark Huynh, who  posted ten  points and eight  rebounds. That's the most  boards  Huynh has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Dariel Bahamontes, who  went 5 for 10  en route to 12 points and six  rebounds.
 Despite the loss, Beaumont still got an impressive performance from   Aidan Betts, who  had 14  points. Betts continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's  played.  Joey Bulis was another key player,  putting up eight points.
Redlands East Valley's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Beaumont, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record  this season.
 Redlands East Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  a  58-49  win against Citrus Valley on the 16th. Beaumont has also  already played their next matchup,  a  58-30  victory against Redlands on the 16th.
