On Thursday, Drew suffered a tough 57-35 defeat at the hands of Stuart Hall. While losing is never fun, Drew can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 513th, while Stuart Hall is ranked 161st).
Despite the loss, Drew still got an impressive performance from Teo Kimball-Directo, who scored 16 points. Kimball-Directo scored a full 45.7% of Drew's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Drew's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Stuart Hall, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.
Drew is on the road again on Saturday and play against Eastside College Prep at 1:00 p.m. on December 16th. Eastside College Prep will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. Stuart Hall will be home for the holidays to greet The Bay School at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
