The Owyhee Braves will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Virginia City Muckers at 6:00 p.m. on December 14th. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Last Saturday, Owyhee took a serious blow against Yerington, falling 52-25.
Meanwhile, Virginia City's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by Round Mountain 52-24.
Owyhee has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Virginia City, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
Everything came up roses for Owyhee against Virginia City when the teams last played back in February of 2017 as the squad secured a 84-53 victory. Does Owyhee have another victory up their sleeve, or will Virginia City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
