The Jac-Cen-Del Eagles and the Eminence Eels will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Jac-Cen-Del extended their postseason success on Saturday against Oldenburg Academy. They came out on top against the Twisters by a score of 49-41. 49 seems to be a good number for Jac-Cen-Del as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Jac-Cen-Del got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Julia Meyer out in front who scored 15 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Meyer hasn't dropped below 15 points for five straight games. Kelsey Borgman was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Eminence stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They put the hurt on Greenwood Christian Academy with a sharp 52-26 win. The victory was familiar territory for Eminence who now have four in a row.
Jac-Cen-Del has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. As for Eminence, their win bumped their record up to 19-7.
