The West Point Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 25 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Lawrence County 73-30 at home. With West Point ahead 51-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Lawrence County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kylie Graham, who scored six points along with three steals, and Ava Boyll who scored six points. Graham is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played.
West Point's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points per game. As for Lawrence County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Point will be home for the holidays to greet Vinemont at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Vinemont focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Tuesday. Lawrence County will be home for the holidays to greet Hatton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
