The Hartley Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 70-41 loss at the hands of Adrian. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hartley in their matchups with Adrian: they've now lost three in a row.
Hartley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emmanuel Saldivar, who scored eight points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Jesus Quevedo, who scored ten points.
Hartley has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Adrian, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.
Hartley will be playing at home against Channing at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Channing comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Adrian, they will head out on the road to take on Pringle-Morse at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
