 In other batting news,  Isaiah Maldonado was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Jase Seltzer, who  got on base  in two of his three plate appearances with two  runs and one  stolen base.
Central Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 16-2. As for Pine-Richland, they pushed their record up to 21-4 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
