On Monday Clair Ferebee struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). The performance marked the fewest hits Ferebee has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her sixth in a row with more than five strikeouts. This year, she has an ERA of 1.43 over 34.3 innings pitched.

Ferebee's strong effort led Lawrence Academy over Northeast Academy and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
